In the special Chrismas Ideas issue of  Better Homes and Gardens, at page 96, there is an article about the owner and creative diretor of Curious Sofa, Debbie Dusenberry. Her way to decorate for Christmas intrigued me. It was very original, completely out of the box, I wanted to know a bit more, so I look up her blog, and oh my god it just blew my mind, I couldn’t take off my eyes from the pictures of  the Halloween decoration so brillant!  I wish I could see her antique shop for real. Yesterday, while I browse the net, I found the blog Helen Rawlinson a textil designer,- which lead me to the paper n stich contest-. I just love the pattern she creates, I find them cute and so fresh, don’t you think? But I totally smitten her lampshade: here a snap of item from her blog and her shops in paper n stitch and etsy

I know there’s still Halloween and Thanksgiving to come, but december is right in the corner, and christmas illustrations must be done before so here I am drawing holiday illustration, and to get into christmas mood, meanwhile it’s rainy, hot and cold -in Asturias, weather keeps on changing through the day, rather annoying sometimes, I listen to some carols:Nat King cole,Dean Martin,Sinatra… So what do you do to get christmas inspiration:

I’d just get crazy about it, I’ve a lot of time bought things that I would probably never used, just because I loved the pattern,the paper the originality of the object, even though it’s not meant for me.  This week, my peek is a shop and not an item, I wasn’t able to choose
