Have a coffee and enjoy it!
So, we need our cup of coffee to stay focus and be energetic. Everybody knows the benefits of coffee, like allowing us to be alert. But do we know how long does it take for the caffeine to kick in? And
According to the coffee study of neuroscientist Steven Miller PH.D , our body creates its “own” natural caffeine, known as the cortisol.There are actually three productions peaks during the day. As a result, drinking coffee when our “natural” cortisol is released in our body, can be counterproductive. According to the Freelancers Union, 57% of their freelancer members, drinks around two or three cup of coffee per day. Imagine, drinking it during the high peak! Who wants to build a fast caffeine tolerance? Nobody!
So what’s the best time to drink coffee?
If you drink your coffee between the following range of hours, you will be able to fully “enjoy” the caffeine benefits, as your cortisol level will be lower :
- 6:30 am – 8:00am
- 9:00 -noon
- 1:00pm -1am for those who are planning on working overnight or those who aren’t scared to have trouble sleeping!
